Creative Nature, founded by Julianne Ponan, the Award-winning entrepreneur and Food and Drink Heroes judge, is the award-winning business that prides itself as the go-to inclusive food brand for those with allergies.
Creative Nature has more recently been chosen to feature in the Department for International Trade’s (DIT) Great Britain and Northern Ireland “Made in the UK Sold to the World” campaign, which aims to encourage more businesses in the UK to export and make use of the free expert advice offered by the UK Government to help them on every step of their journey.
The government-run initiative which features Creative Nature alongside other businesses has gone live with an advert showcasing founder Julianne Ponan, alongside the slogans “Made in the UK Sold to the World” and “Blended in Surrey, Sold in 16 Countries” and it can be spotted on billboards, digital display boards and in print publications across South East England until 28th November 2022.
The campaign aims to communicate DIT’s offer of support to UK businesses in helping them to sell their products to the world market, whilst encouraging more people to explore trading overseas. The export strategy kickstarts the ‘Race to a Trillion’ as DIT publishes 12-point plan to help UK businesses hit £1 trillion in exports.
“The UK is home to world-class food and drink, so it is brilliant to see so many great exporters join the Made in the UK, Sold to the World campaign, showcasing their excellent products, helping to grow our economy and supporting local jobs,” said exports minister Marcus Fysh.
“We want to see more businesses take advantage of the potential they could achieve if they get onto the exporting ladder.”
UK food and drink exports were worth £20.3bn last year, and the government has committed to becoming an export-led economy.
Discussing the campaign, Julianne Ponan said:
“I was over the moon when DIT got in contact with me to invite Creative Nature to take part in their campaign, and I am incredibly proud that we are the only top 14 allergen-free brands to have been chosen this year.
“It can be daunting for small businesses to step outside of the UK and embrace new ways of doing business, so it is extremely beneficial to have the support and reassurance from groups such as DIT in helping you to make that transition and grow your business. Creative Nature started from my kitchen table, and now our products are available in 16 different countries worldwide, including Cyprus, Australia, USA, Dubai and many more, and we have plans for even wider expansion in due course which we are very excited about”.
Creative Nature produces snack bars, baking mixes, sweet treats and superfood mixes which are free from the top 14 allergens and are vegan, meaning everyone can enjoy them, with or without allergies. The brand sources the highest quality ingredients to maximise the health benefits to its consumers. Creative Nature is a huge advocate for caring about the environment and works to make sure they have the most sustainable packaging without compromising on the safety of its products. The full Creative Nature range is palm oil free, and the company is very selective of ingredient suppliers to ensure Anti-Slavery, Anti-Animal Cruelty and Anti- Child Labour.
