Latest figures from Beauhurst on the business impact of the COVID-19 pandemic reveals that London is home to the highest proportion of potentially positively impacted companies.

In their latest report, a positively impacted company is defined by Beauhurst as a company that can potentially grow its operations as a result of these circumstances.

Their data illustrates that the surrounding regions of the South East and East of England also doing well, likely due to the high density of tech companies in the southern regions.

However, their report also revealed that it’s Northern Ireland that comes in second place in terms of positive impact, with 16% of companies, however Northern Ireland also “features prominently on the map of severe and critically impacted companies”.

Beauhurst say that “regional inequalities are clear, with a significant proportion of companies in the South West region and devolved nations facing a particularly difficult road ahead”.
