Another of Britain’s oldest High Street names, Austin Reed, is at risk of being lost, a day after BHS filed for administration.
The suit retailer, which boasts the likes of Winston Churchill and The Beatles among its famous customers, has officially entered administration, having filed its intention to do so last week.
The move puts around 1,200 jobs at risk at the company founded in 1900.
Austin Reed has been in trouble for some time. Last year, it implemented a restructuring plan which saw 30 of its stores close.
