Following Dragon's Den panellist Doug Richards' comments on the crucial role high speed broadband must paly in securing the country's economic recovery, Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt yesterday announced.
"Every community across the UK will have access to super-fast broadband by 2015, under new government plans. The coalition is set to invest £830 million in drive to make Britain's broadband network the best in Europe.
The action plan to create "digital hubs" across the country was published today by Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt. The strategy aims remove barriers to business investment in infrastructure and promote private sector growth across the UK."
