Research In Motion (RIM) the makers of BlackBerry have unveiled BlackBerry PlayBook.

The BlackBerry PlayBook was paraded with an impressive array of features designed to give users uncompromised web browsing, true multitasking and high performance multimedia.

RIM suggest that it is 'a game-changing product in the growing tablet marketplace.' - however there has been no mention of price! Some industry commentators believe that the entry level might be in the region of £1000.

Availability

The BlackBerry PlayBook is expected to be available in retail outlets and other channels in the United States in early 2011 with rollouts in other international markets beginning in (calendar) Q2.
