Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) share of the US search market currently stands at 65%- unchanged since September- whilst a 0.3% drop in Yahoo’s customers puts the second most popular search engine at risk of being overtaken by Microsoft’s (MSFT) Bing.

The latest monthly market share figures from comScore (SCOR) also show searches across the US grew 6% during October to 18bn, of which some 11.9bn were directed at the Google family of search products.

AOL’s share remained unchanged, at just 1.5%, whilst Ask Network dipped marginally to 2.9%.
