It was 40 years ago today that The Beatles made a relatively quiet road in St. John's Wood, London.
The Beatles recorded 90% of their work at Abbey Road studios and in April 1969, they came together to record their final album as a group and titled it ‘Abbey Road.’
This album became their best selling work and featured Abbey Road Studios and the now iconic image of the zebra crossing on the front cover.

Technology has certainly moved on and now there is an Abbey Road webcam broadcasting 24/7 www.abbeyroad.com
