Have you heard the latest Facebook News? Mark Zuckerberg founder of facebook named Time's Person of 2010.

Time magazine believes that Mark Zuckerberg had the most influence on events in 2010. Facebook has over 500m users, employes more than one thousand seven hundred people and was established in only 2004.

Already a billionaire at 26, he was also the subject of the film- Social Network that charted face books rise.

Richard Stengel, Time Magazines managing editor said Mr Zuckerberg's social networking service was 'transforming the way we live our lives every day'.

It's certainly true for me. I for one have visited facebook several times today already, it is always on and often the first thing I look at when I arrive at a connected destination.

Mr Zuckerberg said the Time award was "a real honour and recognition of how our little team is building something that hundreds of millions of people want to use to make the world more open and connected"

Hitler, Stalin and the Ayatolla Khomeni have all won in the past. This years runner ups including Lady Gaga, The Conservative Tea Party and Mr Assange of wikileaks.

Whilst Mr Assange is expected to make a big difference to our lives and is certainly open in that he is sharing government communiques and otherwise hidden information, the full impact of his efforts are as yet to have had the impact that it promises. No doubt, Time will tell.
