Heathrow continues to operate at reduced capacity, though it has been raised to two thirds from yesterday’s 33% operation following the opening of a second runway last night.

Gatwick’s runway remains open, though they warn of continued disruptions as a result of the customer backlog over the past few days.

Luton and Stansted are also operational, though all travellers are encouraged to check with their airline before setting off for the airport.

Eurostar has returned to near normal service and the speed restrictions have been raised. Customers are urged to arrive no more than an hour ahead of schedule due to crowding at the St Pancras terminal.

Poor weather conditions continue to affect London Midland, Southeastern and Merseyrail services, while many routes on the First Great Western Service are subject to delays and cancellations.

Busses have been scheduled to replace East Anglian rail services affected by the weather.
