Travel company Thomas Cook have reported 'flat' sales for holidays during the British summer holiday season.
However, half-year profits are said to be 'broadly in line with market expectations'.
In a trading statement the firm also said it was continuing to be affected by the political turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa.
The area worst affected was France, with sales for northern Europe up 13% on the previous year.
Bookings in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe were down 1% from a year ago; and there was no change in the UK.
