Tesco has suspended a fifth executive as part of its investigation into a £250m million accounting error.

Tesco has asked commercial director Kevin Grace to step aside whilst the investigation is ongoing.

In September, Tesco's chief executive Dave Lewis launched an investigation after its profit forecast for the six months to August was overstated by £250m. It had initially predicted profits of £1.1bn.

Four executives, including UK managing director Chris Bush, were immediately suspended.
