The four big supermarkets have announced further fuel price cuts, which will bring prices closer to £1 a litre.
Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Asda have all announced cuts of 2p per litre on petrol and diesel.
Tesco's cut was effective immediately on Monday, while the three others will take effect on Tuesday.
Asda said its customers will pay no more than 105.7p a litre for petrol and 112.7p for diesel.
The recent falls in fuel prices came as oil prices continue to drop to several year lows. Brent crude oil is now trading at around $55 a barrel - six months ago it was $115.
"The cuts are bringing us ever closer to the £1-per-litre average for petrol," said Simon Williams of the RAC.
"Of course it would also be an extremely welcome move for motorists and businesses alike."
