The company behind UK highstreet fashion label ‘superdry’ has announced a record 86% rise in pre-tax profits.
For the 6 month period ending November 2010, the company posted profits of £14.6 million- double those of the same period last year.
Since the opening of the company’s flagship shop in London’s Covent Garden in 2004, the brand has exploded in popularity and now has 69 UK locations and can be found in 20 countries.
Following the rise in raw material costs, the company is less optimistic about performance in the next fiscal year.
