2015 - the year of Rugby in the UK
Wales' Millennium Stadium has been named the loudest Six Nations venue in a noise test by Press Association Sports reporters.
The Millennium Stadium recorded an average decibel level of 92.0dB in Wales' defeat to England in the opening fixture of this year's Six Nations championship.
Ireland's Aviva Stadium came second at 89.8dB during, followed by Twickenham, Murrayfield, Stadio Olimpico and Stade de France.
The Millennium and Aviva Stadiums were the only ones to break 100dB at their loudest points. But the loudest moment goes to Ireland with a 101dB level when the final whistle was blown in the victory against France on Saturday. It's worth noting that the Millennium Stadium test took place when the roof was open, which is believed to reduce the noise levels.
