2015 - the year of rugby in the UK

Stuart Lancaster has recalled Mike Brown and Courtney Lawes his starting line-up for England crucial Six Nations match against Scotland.

Lawes and Brown replace Saracens duo George Kruis and Alex Goode in the only two changes to the XV. Forwards Kieran Brookes, Geoff Parling and Tom Wood come into the replacements.

Mike Brown returns to full-back after being left out of the defeat to Ireland following a strong blow to the head in the win over Italy. Northampton's Courtney Lawes returns to the second-row after missing the first three games of the championship with an ankle injury.

"We have had to make some tough selection calls," England head coach Stuart Lancaster said.

"It's been an intense two weeks of training as everyone wants to be on that field on Saturday."

England head into the game knowing only a victory over winless Scotland will keep their hopes of winning the Six Nations championship alive.

After the 19-9 defeat in Dublin two weeks ago, England need other results to go their way to win the championship.
