The Shift 100 has been put together to identify retail technology entrepreneurs who are bringing new ideas and products to market, creating integrated customer experiences and leading the move away from traditional ‘clicks and mortar’ e-commerce.
These entrepreneurs have been selected because they are dynamic, agile and shifting gears. They have brought an innovative product to market, cleverly harnessed a technology or process, led the revolutionary execution of a new technology and disrupted their markets.
Tom and Phil Beahon have been recognised within retail technology Shift 100 in association with KPMG Small Business Accounting.
Castore was founded by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon at the ages of 26 and 23 respectively. Both come from professional sporting backgrounds which gave them an appreciation of what serious athletes want from their sportswear.
After noticing the lack of high-quality sportswear available to men, the brothers sought to build the lightest, most durable, highest performing sportswear in the market. They test each product on on elite athletes to ensure they excel at the highest level.
USP: High performing technical sportswear.
