The Shift 100 has been put together to identify retail technology entrepreneurs who are bringing new ideas and products to market, creating integrated customer experiences and leading the move away from traditional ‘clicks and mortar’ e-commerce.
These entrepreneurs have been selected because they are dynamic, agile and shifting gears. They have brought an innovative product to market, cleverly harnessed a technology or process, led the revolutionary execution of a new technology and disrupted their markets.
Sam and Joe Middleton have been within retail technology Shift 100 in association with KPMG Small Business Accounting.
Sam Middleton and his Father Joe Middleton founded The Chapar in 2013 aimed at revolutionising the way men shop.
The Chapar is aimed at men over the age of 27 and sends regular packages of clothes based on a man's tastes. Customers then try on the clothes and return anything they don't like. Chapar stylists work with customers through phone calls and online chats to find out what their tastes are and send more relevant items of clothing.
USP: Regular packages of clothes are send to customers based on a man's tastes.
