Welsh language broadcaster S4C has teamed up with Sony to produce content it hopes will be sold around the world.

The two have produced a six-part adventure programme called Wild Recruits, filmed in Caernafon in North Wales.

S4C is hoping that Sony will be able to sell the format in various countries across the world with a view to them filming in the same area to boost the local economy.

Yesterday, S4C announced a 6% fall in its audience figures.

S4C entertainment commissioner Elen Rhys said Sony has the capacity to take Wales' "wonderful and new ideas" to the world.
