The Coalition Government’s Red Tape Challenge website, in which existing rules are exposed to public scrutiny with the intention of stripping away the excess, thus boosting business and streamlining legal processes, has entered its final stage, focussing on employment regulation.
As part of this, recruitment bodies have been in dialogue with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) with regards to a radical streamlining of the Conduct Regulations.

"The feedback from REC members has already been sent to Government and there will be further opportunities over the coming months to drive a collective vision of how our industry should be regulated.”
