The Rail, Maritime & Transport (RMT) union has announced plans to hold two separate strikes next month after rejecting a pay deal from Network Rail.

Rail workers part of the union will hold one 24 hour strike from 5pm on 4 June and a 48 hour strike from 5pm on 9 June.

The RMT was part of a mass strike planned on bank holiday Monday, but cancelled it a few days before.
