Oxygen Accelerator, a 13-week tech accelerator for startups from around the world is returning in 2013 with a new base.

Google's Campus London in the heart of East London's Tech City will be the venue for Oxygen Accelerator's latest intake. An entire floor of Campus London will be set aside for successful applicants, with organisers hoping to attract startups and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

The application process is open until 23 August and on 1 October, 10 successful applicants will embark on an intensive process of developing their product and honing their proposition. More than 150 mentors from the worlds of finance, marketing, design, tech and entrepreneurship will be on hand to help the startups including Eze Vidra, Head of Campus London, Google and Sean Seton Rogers of PROFounders Capital.

With €7,000 investment on offer per founder (up to three founders) for each successful entrant to the Oxygen Accelerator, startups can get up to €21,000 in exchange for 8% equity. They'll also get free office space at Campus London during the process and access to lawyers, accountants and pitch trainers to prepare them for an investment pitch day where they will present to Angels, Private Equity and Venture Capitalists.

Last month, Oxygen Accelerator was approved by UKTI as a recognised Seed Investment competition, making it one of only four accelerators in the UK to hold this accreditation. This will make it easier for entrepreneurs from outside of the EU looking to apply for the programme to gain a visa.

With half of the startups that have taken part in Oxygen Accelerator securing funding, CEO of Oxygen Accelerator Simon Jenner is keen to begin the process all over again with the latest round of applicants.

"We're proud to be moving to Campus London, which is already home to a buzzing community of startups and entrepreneurs with more than 10,000 members. However, Oxygen Accelerator isn't just about helping London-based startups — we're looking for applicants from all over the world so we can help to grow global businesses," said Mr Jenner.

"London's cosmopolitan nature makes it an ideal place for startups with international ambitions to get on the launchpad. Successful applicants to Oxygen Accelerator will get access to the best advice and training that London has to offer to help them develop their ideas and present them to potential investors," he continued.

Eze Vidra, Head of Campus London, Google, said: "We're delighted to be welcoming Oxygen Accelerator to Campus. Our goal is to fill this town with innovative, successful startups, and Oxygen Accelerator is definitely going to help us connect with the best entrepreneurs from London, the UK and around the world."
