Npower has become the latest energy supplier to cut its gas prices, announcing a reduction of 5.1% on average.
Npower said it would cut the price of its standard tariff from 16 February.
It is the fourth major energy supplier to announce price cuts due to falling wholesale gas prices.
E.On kicked things off with a 3.5% reduction. British Gas announced a 5% cut on Monday, followed by Scottish Power on Tuesday with a 4.8% cut.
