Notting Hill Housing, advised by Deloitte Real Estate, has secured planning permission for 150 residential units in Enfield.

The scheme, designed by HTA Architects, redevelops the existing Council waste depot off Carterhatch Lane. The approved scheme will provide circa 14,500 square meters of floorspace in 150 affordable residential units along with a new public open space and children’s play area.

The scheme, which will provide 63 affordable rented units and 87 shared ownership units, was granted consent following 12 months of detailed design discussions with officers at the London Borough of Enfield.

Adam Donovan, assistant director in planning at Deloitte, said: “This innovative design will provide new, much needed, housing in Enfield. It is always a challenge to provide good quality affordable housing that delivers a mix of units and exemplary design, and I am delighted that we have been able to do just that here.”

Notting Hill Housing intends to commence construction in late 2013.
