Norfolk businesswomen Nikki Jones and Phillipa Masters who own and run Norstead Hall Kennels & Groomers as well as Moore & Masters, a fairground hire business have agreed fresh funding from their banking partners NatWest to support the growth of both businesses.

Nikki and Phillipa took on the kennels in North Walsham in 2004 after an extensive search for the right location.

Today they have built up a private boarding kennels and cattery operation, as well as providing support for the local major agencies, which is based over four acres with accommodation for 120 dogs, 60 cats together with a complete and up to date grooming parlour, a family pet block and a pet shop. Moore & Masters specialises in the hire of traditional heritage fairground rides and amusements. Within their portfolio they own a rare Victorian "Galloper" ride "Pride of the South" which featured in the film "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" - and today is a popular ride at a number of Norfolk and Suffolk attractions and locations throughout the year.
Nikki and Phillipa are partners across the two businesses working together with a dedicated and conscientious team of staff. The funding they have raised through NatWest releases funds back into the kennels and grooming business to allow for an upgrading of the facilities and enables further ride purchases for the Moore & Masters business.

Speaking about the arrangement, Nikki Jones said: "Business levels continue to grow across both ventures and as we enter 2012 we have taken the decision to invest in both operations for future growth potential. That means we have taken advantage of the ability to restructure existing debt from other providers into a new facility which provides greater flexibility and headroom as we seek to adapt and prosper from increasing customer demand.''
Richard Williamson, senior manager, commercial banking at NatWest who arranged the funding adds: ''Whilst diverse in their nature of operation - the passion that Nikki and Phillipa bring to both businesses has grown both operations in recent years. Our new funding structure is designed to further support their growth ambitions.''
