Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has won a high court battle which will allow it to purchase the final piece of land needed to build its new £400 million stadium.
Archway Sheet Metal Works contested Tottenham's compulsory purchase order which could make the company move to make way for the new 56,000 seater stadium.
Archway's premises are located near the North Stand of Spurs' White Hart Lane stadium in North London. In November, a mystery fire gutted the site.
Josif Josif, 46, who runs the family business, said at the time of the fire: “People were calling us and threatening us and we were receiving bomb threats and that started a few months ago but we don’t know if that’s got anything to do with it.”
Tottenham has already acquired planning permission and construction is expected to be completed in time for the start of the 2018/19 season.
