Construction is now firmly underway at Wenlock Road, located in Shoreditch. This exciting project is the latest development from leading London developer Regal Homes.
50 apartments will be built- 33 will be allocated as private units, with the remaining 17 units available for shared ownership and rental. The units will comprise of one, two or three bedrooms, including penthouse apartments on the ninth floor, with sizes ranging from 51-93 sqm. Uniquely, due to the design, all flats are corner units and have at least two aspects, with some units having three.
The design of Wenlock Road is a radical departure from usual urban housing. The innovative 'cross' floorplates rotate from floor to floor, bringing daylight, ventilation and views into each apartment, whilst the basement and ground floor workspace is truly integrated with the residential community, maintaining security as well as providing amenities, such as a shared cafe.
