Two Low Pay Commissioners will visit Bangor and Anglesey on 24 & 25 September on a fact-finding visit about the National Minimum Wage. This is one of a number of visits the Low Pay Commission is making around the UK during 2012 to gather information on how the minimum wage is operating.

Susan Anderson and John Hannett will meet a number of representatives in Bangor and Anglesey to hear first hand what impact the National Minimum Wage is having on businesses and workers.

“Hearing directly from those affected by the National Minimum wage is an important part of the Commission’s work and informs our recommendations to the Government," Low Pay Commissioner Susan Anderson said.

"Our visits take us around the UK and we welcome the opportunity to hear how the National Minimum Wage has affected people in Bangor and Anglesey.”
