LinkedIn is to adopt a "less is more" approach to its emails, the company has announced.
Despite its popularity and benefits among the business community, frequent emails are a constant frustration for many LinkedIn users.
LinkedIn said it will send less frequent and "more relevant" emails after receiving "many" complaints.
Notifications about connections posting new profile pictures and viewing your profile are among the biggest frustrations.
But LinkedIn says it will reduce emails by 40% and focus on weekly round-ups, rather than sending an email every time something there is a notification.
