Entrepreneurs and business owners in Wales are being urged to enter the Entrepreneur Wales Awards, with less than two weeks until entries close.

The first Entrepreneur Wales Awards, in association with Natwest, Redrow, Cardiff Council and Fresh Business Thinking, has 16 award categories aimed at Welsh businesses of all sizes across a wide variety of industries. Entries will close at 5pm on 31 July.

The categories are:

- Manufacturing Entrepreneur of the Year
- International Trade Entrepreneur of the Year
- Retail Entrepreneur of the Year
- Digital Entrepreneur of the Year
- Eco Entrepreneur of the Year
- Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year
- Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year
- Social Enterprise of the Year
- Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year
- Micro Business Entrepreneur of the Year
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year
- Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year
- Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year
- Food & Drink Entrepreneur of the Year
- Entrepreneurs' Champion of the Year
- Expat Entrepreneur of the Year

Francesca Russell, founder of the Entrepreneur Wales Awards, said: "We've already seen some fantastic entries, but we want more businesses and entrepreneurs in Wales to shout about what they've done.
