Kraft Foods, the company who took over Cadbury in 2010, have announced that they will cut 200 jobs as part of their plans to invest £50 million in its chocolate and biscuit manufacturing operations.

The food giants announced that the cuts will come at sites at Bournville, Birmingham, Chirk in Flintshire, north Wales, and Marlbrook in Herefordshire.

However, they went on to say that the cuts will come as part of redeployment and voluntary redundancies throughout the next two years.

In addition to that the firm confirmed that the investment at the company's Sheffield plant will create 20 new jobs.
