Nine hundred and fifty one thousand 16 to 24-year-olds in the UK are now out of work - the highest number since records began in 1992.

This Thursday, 17 Feb, James Caan, former Dragon, employment guru and author of new book ‘Get the Job You Really Want’ will help youth charity The Prince’s Trust to launch a series of live monthly webchats which are aimed at providing advice and support to unemployed young people.

“This can be a disheartening time for young unemployed people but I hope this new webchat series helps The Prince’s Trust engage with more young people and inspire them to find their next job,” said James Caan. “I have been immensely impressed with the entrepreneurial talents of all the young people I have met whilst mentoring for The Prince’s Trust.”

A new report by The Prince’s Trust and the Citi Foundation, Today’s Young People; Tomorrow’s Economy, shows that disadvantaged young people supported into jobs or self employment by The Trust’s Enterprise Programme could add millions to the UK economy.

Young people should visit The Princes Trust Website to send questions in advance of the webchat, or log on between 2pm and 3pm this Thursday to take part the live.
