I formed 1st4Solutions in 1997, Battlefield2Boardroom in 2011 and My TrueNORTH in 2015.
How long have you been in marketing?
Since leaving the British Army in 2004!
Why do you do what you do?
I love it! When you find 'what' you are here to do, it ceases to be work its more a vocation. I work HARD but also 'retired' in 2011.
Which marketing platform do you use the most (and it can't be your own!)?
Aside from Google, I'm a big LinkedIn fan.
If you could only use one marketing platform for the rest of your life, what would it be (and you can't use your own!)?
Most probably LinkedIn.
What is your favourite thing about marketing?
The opportunity to build relationships wirldwide, the fact it breaks down geographical boundaries and enables us to think global.
Is content still king?
Yes, although great content on the wrong platform delivered to the wrong people at the wrong time in the wrong manner is pointless.
In a sentence, what's your presentation about?
My keynote is entitled WARNING: Your marketing MIGHT just work! And helps the audiance stop wasting money with pointless shotgun marketing and understand the benefits of sniper targeting.
