Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has said he will submit "credit" proposals for economic reform to its creditors on Thursday.
Greece was earlier told it had to submit new proposals by tomorrow's deadline or increase the risk of being kicked out of the eurozone.
Mr Tsipras' pledge came during a fiercely debated emergency summit of European Union leaders.
Separately, the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructures, Maritime Affairs and Tourism said the government "reassures both the Greek citizens and the visitors (tourists) that there are adequate food supplies in the market and that their prices remain stable".
