Grant Aid intends to bring you news of lesser known grants that will enable you to grow bigger, better, and faster! The grant details may be obtained from the official grant websites listed but additional insight is on its website at www.grantaid.com. There too you can obtain news covering the full spectrum of business grants and subscribe to its newsletter.

Quick Reminder - Regional Growth Fund Round 3

The third round of the Regional Growth Fund is now open and will close to applications on 13th June 2012. The RGF will support capital projects, R&D projects and training projects in those areas of England that are currently heavily dependant upon public sector employment, very broadly the North East, North West, The Midlands and certain other specific areas. The minimum grant is normally £1m but companies can group together and individually apply for less. You can find out more details from the BIS site at www.bis.gov.uk

The Eco-Innovation Grant

The CIP (Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme) Eco-Innovation grant broadly provides financial support for eco projects that have passed the R&D stage but now need to penetrate the European market and may be meeting resistance because of insufficiently demonstrated efficiency.

There is to be an information day on Tuesday 8th May 2012 in Brussels where the exact details of the 2012 call will be published.

If you are an SME with a clean-tech, eco-tech, green-tech or eco-innovative product or service you should investigate the CIP Eco Innovation Programme and contemplate attending the information day.

Grantaid shall of course be attending ourselves and would be pleased to act on your behalf both in obtaining information at the information day in Brussels and assisting with applications.

We have been successful in obtaining multimillion pound grants for our clients and will happily advise on the complex application procedure for the Business Growth Fund.
