Google is planing to challenge Uber by launching a service using its driverless cars, according to reports by Bloomberg.
Bloomberg has claimed that Uber executives have seen screenshots of a similar program currently being used by Google employees.
Last month, the head of Google’s self-driving car project, Chris Urmson,FIFA Crédits said he would like to see Google's driverless cars being used by several strangers at once.
That would put it in direct competition with car-sharing taxi service, Uber.
Such a move would likely raise regulatory issues for Google. Uber has already been banned in Beijing, New Delhi, Berlin, Thailand, the Netherlands and Spain.
