Nearly half of Welsh business owners say they will vote for the Conservatives in the general election.

Forty-four percent of business owners surveyed by Hwb Cymru said they plan to vote Tory. It shows a commanding majority over other parties with Plaid Cymru and UKIP supported by 10% of Welsh business owners, and Labour on 8%.

Five percent plan to vote for the Liberal Democrats, 3% for the Green party and 17% are undecided. A further 2% do not plan to vote.

The survey also asked business owners how they would vote in an EU referendum if it took place tomorrow. More than half (55%) said they would vote to stay in the EU. Just under a third (32.32%) would vote to leave and 12% were undecided.
