Eurostar saw passenger numbers and revenues rise slightly in the three months to the end of September.

Passenger numbers were up 3% to 2.7 million for the quarter with revenues up 2% to £211 million.

Earlier this month, the UK government announced it was looking for a buyer for its 40% in Eurostar.

Eurostar celebrates its 20th birthday on 14 November and plans to unveil a new fleet of trains to celebrate. It says new trains are needed to improve and expand the service.
