A Doncaster company is reaping the benefits of CompeteFor, the brokerage service between buyers and suppliers throughout the supply chain for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

Urban Hygiene Ltd produces anti graffiti coatings, graffiti removal products and fire retardant paint and has supplied over 700 Litres of their easy-on anti graffiti coating to the construction company which will cover 20,000 square metres in high people traffic areas throughout London 2012 venues.

Mark Johnson, Sales Director from Urban Hygiene commented: “Having our products selected for London 2012 has benefited our company greatly.

“The contract has allowed the company to continue growing at a time when it has been difficult for others to sustain their sales, so it has benefited everyone at Urban Hygiene.”

The business has experienced further benefits from supplying London 2012 by winning work with Local Authorities in London to supply them with their graffiti removal products to tidy up the stadium’s surrounding areas including stations, subways, bridges and underpasses and also the anti graffiti coating to ensure they remain clear in the run up to the Games.

Urban Hygiene Ltd registered its details on the Compete4 website, an online business networking and matching service bringing together London 2012 contractors and potential suppliers. CompeteFor is a vehicle through which London2012 and its contractors will publish Games related subcontracting and supplier opportunities.
