The rate of inflation in China rose to 1.4% in February, recovering from five-year lows seen in January.
Inflation was at 0.9% in January - it's lowest rate since November 2009. But the 1.4% figure in February beats most market expectations.
China recently lowered its inflation target from 3.5% to 3%.
Many attributed the rise in inflation to the Chinese New Year, which fell in February this year.
