David Alberto, CEO of Avanta

David Alberto pleads one of Britains fastest growing serviced office companies, Avanta, which he founded in 2004. Having dabbled in a number of business ventures in the early stages of his career. Alberto finally found his calling in serviced offices. He joined Regus in 1992 when it had just eight centres and he quickly moved throught the ranks to head UK sales, during which the portfolio grew to 100 centres across 26 countries. He then established his own business centre company, merging it with MWB’s fledgling business centre operation in 1998, taking over as CEO.

Between 1998 and 2002 he grew MWB Business Exchange to 50 centres in the UK and Europe. He left Business Exchange in December 2002 and started Avanta in February 2004. Avanta now manages 22 business centres across the UK and India. David has an in-depth knowledge of the importance of duediligence, delivers expert advice on hiring the right people and the advantages of decentralising management and empowering people throughout the organisation via goal setting and rewards.
