It's seems to be 'your round' as opposed to 'last orders' for two of the UK's leading Pub companies.
According to Enterprise Inns plc (ETI) Interim Management Statement there has been no material change in the underlying performance of the business in the last two months.
Underlying trading performance appears to be stabilising, with the rate of decline in beer sales reducing.
Meanwhile at JD Wetherspoon like-for-like sales increased by 2.0% for the 5 weeks leading up to July 12th giving further encouragement to the sector.
In a statement the board said that ; "In the light of our sales and margin performance, we are confident about the outlook for the current financial year."
