Jordan Poulton became President of Oxford Entrepreneurs in June 2009 and is responsible for managing a committee of 20 volunteers, strategic planning and development of the society, securing funding as well as external relations, event management, marketing and PR.

Not only is Jordan president of Oxford Entrepreneurs, he is also an entrepreneur himself having founded Oxford Investment Club who help students to gain knowledge in the basics of technical and fundamental analysis of stocks in the FTSE. Jordan is director of multiple companies including enPOWER Magazine, CrewDates.com, Gedy Events, Indea and College Jackets.

Jordan’s work experience spans across various different sectors from volunteering as a keeper at Inti Wara Yassi animal refuge where he was responsible for feeding, walking and the general care of three baby pumas to product strategy development with Eurex/Deutsche Börse. Jordan has also worked in telesales at EYG and as a researcher at ISC Networks.

Having studied at Oxford, Jordan was keen to return to the ‘Spires’ and since his appointment to President of Oxford Entrepreneurs Jordan has signed up 1374 freshers in two days, 402 of which were signed up personally, raised around 37k in various ‘in-kind’ support, grown the society by 24.7% from the largest student-led entrepreneurship society in Europe to the largest in the world as well as organising and managing 50 events in 18 weeks.
