One - Blogs

You have all been witness to the meteoric rise of...

...blogging on the web and in our consciousness. Blogs may have begun life as online diaries for those unable to wheedle their way onto reality TV, but today, they are the go to place for knowledge, insight and inspiration.

They say that if you want to grow your network you need to post three blogs a week. You also need to guest post on other people’s blogs (preferably those who share your target market) and to comment on other blogs and forums. It’s all about sharing. About that golden rule of networking — to give first and reap the rewards later.

If you have something to share, then share it on your blog, be found by the search engines and increase your reputation and your client base in one fell swoop.

Two - Columns

Do you know enough about a particular subject to be able to write something that is fairly personal and insightful on a related topic every month? If so, then maybe you could write a column? Websites, magazines and papers often use regular columnists.
