My name is Nick James, I'm here with Brian Chernett, the founder and CEO of the Academy of Chief Executives. I've got one question for you Brian, I've heard about the Entrepreneur's Board, can you tell me exactly what the Entrepreneur's Board is?

Brian Chernett, Academy for Chief Executives

The Entrepreneur's Board is a new product which we've just launched, I'm calling it a group for today. A group of people - fourteen - get into a group together with an expert facilitator for learning. They sit round the table, they bring their issues, and everyone supports them with...

...their own ideas. It's a non academic MBA, where people learn from experience.

When you get a group of people together, who are CEOs or Entrepreneurs, they've all had experiences in how they've built their businesses. You put all those experiences together and give that to the person bringing the issue, it's hugely powerful. All of us are better than one of us.

I've also heard about the 'board you could never afford'. Perhaps you could tell me about that?

Brian Chernett, Academy for Chief Executives

We call the sessions "the Board you could never afford", and the agenda you wouldn't dare to have, because if you could imagine a board of Chief Executives, or entrepreneurs, all in one room, you can just imagine the power that there is amongst them.

And "the agenda you wouldn't dare to have", because it's not your team around there. That group of people are just there for you, and you would never dare to bring those things up with your own board.

Nick James, Fresh Business Thinking

I heard that you had some very exciting feedback from a number of groups that you ran in Birmingham. Perhaps you'd care to tell us about those.
