Employee Engagement At The Heart Of Business Performance

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) welcomed the publication of the MacLeod Review on employee engagement as a valuable platform to report on its benefits for organisations and employees.
The review finds clear evidence that engagement levels across the economy are low and recommends that the government should use its unique position to bring together interested parties to jointly develop solutions designed to meet their specific needs.

...staff loyalty. Among the biggest obstacles to improved employee engagement are low levels of trust in senior management, poor performance management and line management.
