Ms Hanley was keen to point out that 'knowledge workers often spend 50 per cent of their time searching for information, which is where SharePoint can offer benefits to productivity.'

When asked why businesses should introduce SharePoint Ms Hanley highlighted that SharePoint can 'help firms to build an automation solution and also cut down on travel expense by creating a unified information source for disparate project workers.'(1)
